Detainment of Individuals Labeled as Terrorists

President Donald Trump met with El Salvador President Nayib Bukele in the Oval Office. The U.S. has sent detained individuals, labeled as terrorists, to a prison in El Salvador indefinitely. Similar actions were taken after 9/11 with Guantanamo Bay detainees. John Yoo provided legal justification for treatment of Guantanamo detainees. There are legal distinctions between the actions of the Bush and Trump administrations.
